𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐈 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐠𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐮𝐞?

At the end of this short clip from a webinar I did with APMG International, I ask the question: "𝘸𝘩𝘰’𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘢𝘯 𝘈𝘐 𝘈𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘴 𝘣𝘢𝘥𝘭𝘺 - 𝘢 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘈𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘵?"

I genuinely laughed when someone said this to me recently. But then I realised - this is the world we're stepping into.

Agentic AI doesn't just chat with you like ChatGPT or Claude. It can make decisions. It can actually DO things, taking action autonomously (if you let it).

Which raises questions we've never had to answer before:

- 𝘚𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘸𝘦 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘈𝘐 𝘈𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺’𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘨𝘶𝘦𝘴?
- 𝘔𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘸𝘦 𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘢𝘯 𝘈𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘵, 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘢 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯?
- 𝘞𝘩𝘰'𝘴 𝘢𝘤𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 ‘𝘈𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘉𝘰𝘣𝘣𝘺’ 𝘨𝘰𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧𝘧-𝘱𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦?

The answers aren’t just technical - they’re 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧, 𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥, 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥. And they're fascinating (and not just to me I'm sure 😉)
